All natural leaves used for the paintings are treated on glycerin bath prior to painting, and sealed with a clear coat for maximum durability, longevity and sturdiness. You should still expect the leaf to have their natural foliage color fading over the years, although that will not alter the painting itself. Because of the delicate and fragile nature of the leaves, it is recommended to keep it inside of a protective frame to avoid any damages.
